Netflix makes Subtitles Available on Desktop Viewing

Netflix recently announced on their blog that subtitles are available on some movies streaming to the PC/Mac. About 100 titles have been added to the close caption selection. Over time the DVD rental and streaming media company hopes to add additional titles to the close caption available group in addition to other streaming devices.

The company posted in June of 2009 that they were working on the technology and explained the difficulty in adding subtitles to movies post-production. Silverlight clients are the easiest formats to deliver the new functionality and therefore the release … Read more at Netflix Free Trials

StarzPlay – Netflix Keeping Eye on What Customers Want!

Many loyal Netflix customers not off the techie generation do not understand how the amply supplied NetFlix feature StarzPlay works. StarzPlay essentially allows consumers to download or stream videos to their PC or Mac in an instant. The subscription plans are extremely reasonable at only $8.99 per month and Netflix ready devices are readily available and will be less pricey in the months ahead. Many of the customers who have a Roku may have been displeased with the streaming result that they received on their computer. The update version has arrived … Read more at Netflix Free Trials

Netflix New Innovations

There are lots of positive features of Netflix online movie services, but here are a few that are hot off the tech press. Netflix was recently released for TiVo users, so that means that if you have a TiVo box and subscribe to the TiVo HD, TiVo HD XL or TiVo Series3 DVR service, you can use the Netflix interface and download your movies that way. Also new to Netflix is the ability to use your Apple TV DVR to download the latest blockbusters.

Watch Instantly

Mac users also got a boost with other options. They can … Read more at Netflix Free Trials
